Stir until all is well combined.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"step-preparation \">\n <div>\n\t\n\n<p>Pour the mix into the baking tin, sprinkle the shaved almonds over the top and bake in the oven for 45 minutes, until a skewer inserted comes out clean.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"step-preparation \">\n <div>\n\t\n\n<p>Allow to cool, dust with icing sugar and serve.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0.25em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-spaced\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GELATO<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"preparation \">\n\t<h6>Preparation<\/h6>\n\t\n\n<div class=\"step-preparation \">\n <div>\n\t\n\n<p>For the gelato, heat milk, cream, and vanilla in a deep pot till hot but not boiling. Remove from heat. In a large bowl, place egg yolks and sugar into a bowl and mix till thick and pale in color. Then add the hot cream mixture and whisk continuously.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"step-preparation \">\n <div>\n\t\n\n<p>Pour the mixture back into your pot. Stir over low heat for 4-5 minutes or until thick \u2013 to be very precise up to 175\u00b0F.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"step-preparation \">\n <div>\n\t\n\n<p>Remove from heat and whisk in&nbsp;<strong>Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/strong>&nbsp;and place in the fridge to cool. Pour the cooled custard into an ice cream machine and follow the manufacturer\u2019s instructions till the ice cream is firm.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0.25em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-spaced\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a gelato maker, place the custard into a deep tray in the freezer for 1 hour. Then every 30 minutes take it out and beat it with an electric mixer. Repeat this for 3-4 times at least till the gelato is firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your cake has cooled and gelato is ready, cut yourself a generous slice topped with the ice cream.
